Scenario: This growth-challenged, mid-sized company perceived it had an unusually high attrition rate with one particular function in the organization. Its growth, and success, were stymied in the department.

Response: Decisively diagnose the cause of the turnover in order to correct the difficulty and retain the most qualified persons for the function.

Proposition: Can we uncover the real issues surrounding turnover in a particular area while maintaining positive employee relations throughout the process?

Action: HR OptIn completed a thorough and confidential Retention Survey by personally interviewing those employees who had resigned. Through personal communication, (not a faceless survey), we were able to determine factors contributing to the costly attrition problem and make tangible suggestions for improved retention.
