As fall turns to winter, the season of gratitude and gift-giving illumines the dark time of the year. We share a meal with the people we love. We unroll the wish lists of friends and family, in an annual flurry of generosity that culminates in drifts of wrapping paper and mounds of tangled ribbon.

"Giving" – the tangible expression of the way we care about each other - means something very special at HR OptIn, because that value is the foundation of this company. We give human resources professionals who opted out of the workforce to focus on family a way to opt back in, and we support those who want to balance family and work with flex hours and part-time.

HR OptIn makes giving an intrinsic expression of the work that we do, by celebrating every time an HR OptIn consultant completes an assignment with  a donation to a charity. Workers choose a cause they wish to support, or select an organization from our list..

The causes we support target women and children, and the reach of our many Santas is global.  HROptIn workers have underwritten dental work for children in the Ozarks and supported projects in Zambian villages. We've helped dress women for job interviews and provided housing for families to stay close to their hospitalized children.

This holiday season will come to a close, but our "season of giving" goes on.  "Giving back" helps us to live what we believe: that we are happiest and most productive when we find ways to give and to receive.
