HR OptIn

HR OptIn is the culmination of a mission that began in 1999 with the creation of Incite Strategies, Inc., and the dedication of a small group of women to bring together Fortune 1000 companies with the most talented HR professionals in a consulting role.

Two forces in the HR industry led us to the creation of HR OptIn. First, is the changing nature of human resources itself into a more dynamic and increasingly specialized, project-oriented set of challenges. Second, is the changing outlook of many HR professionals, including many women, who have sought a transition from full-time status to smart, flex-time positions balancing career and family. HR OptIn was born.

Today, taking a temporary off ramp from a senior position in HR management does not mean being relegated to the backroads of HR. Through HR OptIn, a vital, new on-ramp has been created for professionals to re-enter the HR community at the highest levels of HR insight and leadership. At long last, a new on-ramp to HR performance is an exciting option for practitioners on all sides of the HR equation.

Shari B. Johnson, VP, HROptIn
Shari B. Johnson has a very solid generalist background focused on effective client support, performance management, process improvement, staffing, training and development, and acquisition integration. Shari has over 10 years of experience in both human resources and business and brings a unique perspective in that she has used her skills in both the for-profit and non-profit sector. During her years at EDS and Accenture, Shari met commitments and produced results in the following lines of business:  manufacturing, consumer products, telecommunications, sales and marketing, finance, and information technology. 

Shari recently joined the ISHR Group and will continue to leverage her skills in the areas of staffing and recruiting, communications, coaching and development, operations management, strategic planning, and relationship management.

Shari earned her B.A. in Speech Communications from the University of North Texas and an M.A. in Organizational Communication from Texas State University. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband, Rob, and daughter, Alexandra. Shari loves to travel, read, and is an avid runner. Shari@HROptIn.com
 

 

 

Dana Cook, Senior HR Recruiter

Dana Cook has a wealth of experience in human resources including recruiting, talent assessment, policy/procedure development and implementation, EEOC investigation and reporting, Affirmative Action reporting and planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration and project management. Dana brings exceptional operations experience to HR OptIn from her years as Operations Manager at The Richard Michael Group.  She was a Human Resources generalist for Arthur Andersen, with a specialty in recruiting, before moving to Sports & Recreation, Inc. as Human Resources Director. There she oversaw the Human Resources function for over 6500 employees in 27 states.
 
Dana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Personnel and Employment Relations from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie training in Effective Communications & Human Relations. Dana resides in Atlanta with her husband and three children.
